Regarding his plan to develop the radio in general, he said: My colleague Muhammad Al-Tarawneh, the former director of the radio, as well as those before him, have succeeded in establishing its appropriate presence among the public, achieving distinguished leaps and winning Arab awards. I will not add a new “genius” to them, but I am interested in improving the artistic form, accelerating the rhythm, and activating the elements of attraction. listeners towards keeping pace with the spirit of the times, and stressed the continuation of work on consolidating the authentic and strong contents of the radio according to various methods through six specialized and general channels. He added that the return of audio series after an absence contributed to opening a new horizon, in addition to the recent return of radio plays, which still have a place in the audience. Followers, as it attracts different age groups and segments and meets the cultural dimension that supports the improvement of public taste, and he continued: We are keen for the institution to remain among the first places in winning Arab festival awards, especially those held annually in Cairo and Tunisia. We specialize in seizing the lead and there is no room for retreat.
On the other hand, Oman FM Anani pointed to a recurring dilemma represented by the lack of well-crafted scripts for radio series. He added: We do not find a sufficient number to maintain continuity at a high level, as they often “fall” from “excellent” to “very good” or “good”, and we do not agree to anything less than that.
Regarding the mechanism for benefiting from archive materials, Anani pointed out that the “From the Library” program will continue to be presented during the current session.
